What is an Arc reader?
Here's why book reviews are so crucial to authors, especially indie authors like me:
Visibility: Reviews, especially positive ones, help our books become more visible to potential readers. They boost our book's ranking on online platforms and make it easier for others to discover our work.
Credibility: When potential readers see that others have enjoyed and endorsed our work, it builds trust. Positive reviews give credibility to our writing and encourage others to give it a chance.
Feedback Loop: Your honest reviews are invaluable for improvement. They highlight what worked and what didn't, helping authors refine their craft and create better stories in the future.
Emotional Support: Writing can be a lonely journey. Positive reviews boost our morale and remind us that our work is making a difference in readers' lives.
Decision Making: Your reviews help readers decide whether a book is worth their time and money. Your words can influence their choices and lead to more readers enjoying our stories.
However, you don’t have to be an ARC reader to leave a review. You can start making a difference now!
As an ARC (Advance Reader Copy) reader, your role is all about providing your valuable insights into my upcoming books. If your application is accepted, you'll be given exclusive access to free advance copies of my works, allowing you to read and leave honest reviews before their official release. Reviews are very important and can help books reach the right readers!
What to expect as an Arc reader
If you are accepted to become an ARC reader, you would be encouraged to read and leave an honest review of any books you receive on Amazon, Goodreads, and any other platform you use for book-related interactions (such as Bookbub, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) or notify me if you are unable to finish reading the book or are unable to post a review by the deadlines communicated in new book release notification emails. These emails are typically sent 1-2 months before a new book's scheduled release date. These emails would also include a free ebook link to an exclusive advance copy of the upcoming book.
*Please note that I am unable to provide ARC readers with physical books at this time.
If you’re interested in becoming an ARC reader for future books, please fill out the form attached to the button at the top of this page. If you are accepted, you will receive a confirmation email, along with any relevant additional information. Thank you for your interest!
